<p>(Baltimore, MD) &mdash; Downtown Partnership of Baltimore announces the return of the beloved&nbsp;<a href="https://charlesstreetpromenade.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://charlesstreetpromenade.com/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1780065425177000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2O60mAjRwMWAmv8C_Ct_u5"><u>Charles Street Promenade</u></a>&nbsp;on&nbsp;Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., &mdash;&nbsp;transforming one of Baltimore&rsquo;s and the nation&rsquo;s most iconic corridors into an expansive day-long pedestrian festival celebrating the businesses, restaurants, culture, and neighborhoods that define the city&rsquo;s historic &ldquo;Main Street.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Stretching 17 blocks&nbsp;from&nbsp;300 N. Charles Street to North Avenue, this free community event&nbsp;will close Charles Street to vehicular traffic from Saratoga Street to North Avenue, creating a vibrant, walkable destination filled with live music, outdoor dining, shopping, interactive activities, public art, and community experiences for all ages.</p>
<p>From longtime local institutions to exciting new businesses, the Charles Street Promenade showcases the energy and creativity that continue to shape the heart of Baltimore. Visitors are encouraged to explore the corridor on foot, by bicycle, with family and friends &mdash; including with their pets &mdash; while enjoying the unique character of the surrounding neighborhoods and historic architecture.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Charles Street has long served as one of Baltimore&rsquo;s defining cultural and commercial corridors,&rdquo; said&nbsp;DPOB President Shelonda Stokes.&nbsp;&ldquo;The Charles Street Promenade celebrates the incredible businesses, restaurants, residents, artists, and organizations that make this historic thoroughfare such a vital part of Baltimore&rsquo;s identity and character. We&rsquo;re thrilled to extend this invitation to our entire community to come together and experience the vibrancy of our City in a uniquely engaging pedestrian-friendly way, while rediscovering Baltimore&rsquo;s &lsquo;Main Street.&rsquo;&rdquo;</p>

<p role="presentation">Kaizen Beauty&nbsp;&mdash; The newly opened nail salon on the 300 block will host a &ldquo;Build Your Own Press-On&rdquo; station and offer 10% off first services throughout the event.</p>

<p role="presentation">Thomas Johnson Middle School Drumline&nbsp;&mdash; Experience the excitement and energy of the student drumline as they bring music and school spirit to the promenade.</p>

<p role="presentation">Wet City and Guilford Hall Brewery Beer Garden&nbsp;&mdash; Visitors can enjoy outdoor beverages and community gathering spaces on the 1200 block.</p>

<p role="presentation">Super Mario Brothers on the Billboard&nbsp;&mdash; Attendees will have the opportunity to play video games displayed on the LED billboard at 1700 N. Charles Street, helping build excitement for the upcoming SuperNova festival at the Convention Center in August.</p>

<p role="presentation">The Baltimore Orioles&nbsp;&mdash; Fans can look forward to special Orioles-themed activations as part of the day&rsquo;s festivities.</p>
