Baltimore’s winter calendar gets a dazzling boost as the Harbor Point Ice Festival returns to the waterfront, transforming Harbor Point Central Plaza into a vibrant showcase of art, entertainment, and seasonal cheer.

Taking place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the free, family-friendly festival will feature more than a dozen intricately carved ice sculptures spread throughout the plaza. Visitors can watch live carving demonstrations throughout the day and interact with select installations designed to delight attendees of all ages.

This year’s festival introduces a playful new twist with a circus-inspired theme, bringing roaming performers and boutique acts into the heart of Harbor Point. Expect living statues and stilt walkers from Baltimore Hoop Love, along with unicycle and tightrope acts by Old Bay Circus Company, led by Michael Rosman. Adding to the spectacle are a crowd-pleasing canine performance by Circus Stella and a soaring aerial silks routine by Chi Akano, also known as The Body Poet. Music throughout the day will be provided by DJ 7oey, keeping the plaza lively from start to finish.

Food and drink offerings will round out the experience with comforting winter favorites and festive treats. Guests can enjoy loaded baked potatoes from Craving Potato Truck, classic funnel cakes from Funnel Fare, cotton candy and popcorn, as well as Egyptian street food from Koshary Corner. Beverages by Bar Movement will include kiddie hot cocoa, an Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned hot toddy, and a mezcal hot cocoa for adults.

The Harbor Point Ice Festival is free and open to the public, and will take place rain or shine at 1310 Point Street, Baltimore, MD 21231. With art, performance, food, and community all coming together, the festival offers a perfect reason to bundle up and celebrate winter on Baltimore’s waterfront.
