The Baltimore Orioles are once again taking their love for the city and the region on the road with the return of the Birdland Caravan, a weekend-long winter tour designed to connect players, fans, and communities ahead of the 2026 season.

Running January 22–24, the Birdland Caravan brings Orioles baseball directly to neighborhoods across Maryland through a mix of family-friendly events, community visits, and fan experiences that celebrate both the team and the people who support it year-round.

This year’s Caravan will feature appearances from a strong lineup of current Orioles players, including Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Jackson Holliday, Jordan Westburg, Tyler Wells, and others, along with Orioles Manager Craig Albernaz. Orioles alumni, the Oriole Bird, and Mr. Splash will also join select stops, giving fans of all ages a chance to engage with familiar faces from Birdland.

Designed as more than just a fan tour, the Caravan emphasizes community connection. Stops will take place throughout Baltimore City and surrounding counties, including Baltimore, Ellicott City, Linthicum Heights, Sykesville, White Marsh, and Prince George’s County, as well as Bel Air and Frederick. Events range from Q&A sessions and pop-up photo opportunities to bowling, family bingo, breakfast gatherings, and mall festivals.

The weekend kicks off in Baltimore City with a “Meet the New O’s” event at the historic Senator Theatre, where fans can hear directly from Albernaz and newly added star Pete Alonso as they receive their first big welcome from Orioles fans.

On Friday, the Caravan’s impact moves beyond entertainment. Orioles players will make surprise visits to Baltimore City schools, turning an ordinary school day into a memorable experience for students. That evening, fans can connect with the team at community-centered venues, including GameOn in Federal Hill and the Guinness Open Gate Brewery, blending fun, conversation, and local flavor.

Saturday’s programming highlights the Orioles’ commitment to families and service. Kids Day, presented by the Maryland College Investment Plan, includes youth-focused events such as breakfast with players, duckpin bowling, family bingo, and hospital visits with young patients at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The Caravan will also honor first responders by visiting the Burtonsville Fire Department and supporting the family of Lt. Christopher Higgins through a partnership with the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

The weekend concludes with mall festivals at White Marsh Mall and Westfield Montgomery Mall, featuring stage shows, interactive games, and kid-friendly activities designed to build excitement for the upcoming season.

All proceeds from ticketed events will benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation, supporting programs and initiatives that uplift communities across the region. Tickets for select events are required and must be purchased in advance.
