On Saturday, October 25, Wellpoint and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame engaged Baltimore City youth and families through hands-on activities designed to celebrate teamwork both on and off the court.

The day began at 8:00 AM with a volunteer event at the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center (2950 Phelps Ln.), where volunteers helped unbox, assemble, and organize new sports and fitness equipment requested by the Club.

Later that morning, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, legendary Baltimore coach Herman Harried led a community basketball clinic for Baltimore City Public Schools (BCPS) students at Reach Partnership School (2555 Harford Rd.). The clinic aimed to inspire young athletes while fostering skills, discipline, and community connection.

These events were part of the Hall of Fame Series’ broader commitment to giving back to the communities that host its games. The Wellpoint Hall of Fame Series Baltimore double-header took place Monday, November 3, featuring Maryland vs. Coppin State (6:30 PM) and Towson vs. Loyola Maryland (9:00 PM) at CFG Bank Arena. One ticket granted access to both matchups, showcasing the region’s rich basketball legacy.
